Conserto and The Transcription Center Formalize Relationship with Three-Year Contract

Aurora, Colo.-based Conserto, a leading provider of operator-assisted and reservationless conference call services, has extended its agreement to purchase transcription services from The Transcription Center.

The Transcription Center, based in Denver, has provided transcription and translation services to the conferencing industry since 1996. Current customers include some of the largest providers of such services in the U.S.

The extension of the agreement is a result of the relationship between the two companies, which has grown steadily since 2005. David Coldiron, president of The Transcription Center, said the contract announced today covers the next three years.

Brad Volin, president of Conserto, said the ease of working with the Transcription Center and its work flow management program, Call Manager, were key factors in his decision to formalize the relationship. “Our staff can order transcripts any time, from any location,” he said. “The system is easy to use and allows us to track our transcription orders from start to finish.” Volin added that having easily accessible, accurate records of meetings is one of the many strategic assets of working with The Transcription Center. “Having a written transcript increases the value of each and every meeting,” he said. “Knowing we’ll have a written record for reference allows each and every participant to focus on contributing expertise and insight to the meeting rather than scrambling to make sure it’s being captured accurately.”

Coldiron said that the synergies between the two companies’ approach to delivering superior service make Conserto and The Transcription Center a natural fit. “We have the same philosophy when it comes to delivering great product and service offerings to our small and medium-sized business customers,” he said. “For all of us at The Transcription Center, it’s an honor to join Conserto in delivering on its mission and ours to remain close to the customer and absolutely focused on quality and cost.”
